Day support services

Day support provides children and young people in care, or those living withfoster families, with a safe, structured and supportive environment during theday. It gives them theopportunity to build confidence, learn new skills andenjoy positive experiences outside of their usual home or school setting.

  • Structured activities: creative, educational and recreational sessions designed to encourage learning and fun.
  • Social skills development: opportunities to build friendships and positive peer relationships.
  • Practical life skills: support with independence, communication and problem-solving.
  • Safe space: caring staff trained to provide nurturing, trauma-informed support and coping mechanisms.
  • Respite for carers: reliable daytime support to give foster carers or care staff a break, while ensuring children are safe and engaged.
